
Wine Palm (Butia Capitata) is native to Brazil and Uruguay. The palm is a feather leaved plant & has a short trunk growing to be about 4.5 metres in height. It produces a delicious fruit that has a combination taste of jelly & wine, growing best in full sunny conditions, however it is an extremely hardy palm withstanding temperatures as low as -10 degrees C.
