Foxtail palms (Wodyetia bifurcata) are native to Queensland's Cape York being a relatively new species, only having been discovered 1978. They feature a grey trunk with dense feathery fronds that create a unique fluffy appearance (hence the name foxtail). They are a neat palm which is self cleaning, and suited to tropical & subtropical climates.
